Our staff have over 20 years ‘experience in engineering acoustics and understand the challenges in achieving compliance with noise, vibration, shadow flicker, and glint/glare regulations and have achieved successful results on a variety of projects.
Apex Acoustic experts are skilled at using the necessary measurement equipment and modeling software to deliver reliable and accurate results on a wide variety of complex projects within and outside the United States. We apply the latest software tools to model airborne sound levels (CadnaA, TNM) for industrial and roadway/rail transit projects, shadow flicker (windPRO) for wind energy projects, and glint/glare hazards (GlareGauge) for solar energy projects. We have experience with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) procedures and guidelines for assessing noise and vibration impacts for rail transit projects.
